(I test the functionality on this mod as you can see its effect immediatelly ). Some windows on my main screen also tend to look like they did not load properly but that means its working. If the game takes longer to load on a black screen and you can see the mods load at the bottom left corner then good. Mine is like this: E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Anno 1800\mods and paste the mod files there. Go to your Anno 1800 steam instalation directory. Paste the unzipped folders into the mods folder.Ħ. ![]() If the folders do not exist, create them. Go to your C:\Users\\Documents\Anno 1800\mods. The files are in zipped folders, unpack them.ĥ. The main thing is that I have been able to play with mods without any issues for two months now except for occasional crashing, but that is to be expected (currently at 134 mods). I can't say what exactly did the trick but I will list all the things I did. If anyone is still suffering due to the lack of help from the developers's side this tutorial might help. So it has been like two months since my last post here and I was too lazy to update it but I have I have been trying to make the mods to work (I have bought the game mainly so I can play with mods). ![]()
